Welcome to Dinja Waħda – One World

Ray Bonnici

Welcome!  My name is Raymond Bonnici, eLearning teacher, and on behalf of BirdLife Malta and its Education Committee, I would like to invite you all to join Dinja Waħda’s blog.  This is a six-week online course and during each week you will have some tasks to do which I’m sure you’ll enjoy doing.  In this blog, you will find lots of green activities which you can do together at school, at home , at the reserves or anywhere else and which I am sure you would like to share with the other bloggers.  Taking part is quite easy.  All it takes is some clicking on the different buttons which will take you to the different pages with different activities for you to do.  As I have already seen how thrilled and enthusiastic you are when you work on such activities, I am sure that you will enjoy yourselves working at these activities.  This time the only difference is that I would like you to share your experiences not only amongst yourselves at your school, but with the other schools and with the rest of the world!!  In your weekly assignments you will be asked to do different things according to the activity itself, like writing posts, taking and uploading photos of what you have done, tagging, taking a video, recording, visit different websites and many others as you will see later on.  Your teachers, Dinja Waħda coordinator and I will help you in any problems that you might encounter.  You are free to comment on all posts but I expect that you post at least two comments each week to keep our blog active and to email me telling me how you are getting on.  Netiquette is to be observed all the time.  If you have any query, you can contact me at dinjawahdakids@gmail.com

Happy blogging to all of you.

Raymond
